With Deference

SafariScreenSnapz025I feel ungrateful. As we were traveling with first class tickets (upgrades), Homeland Security was eager to show us deference in the security lines. This included a shorter line and significantly more politeness.

I have spoken with many people about this, but no one has any sense of outrage. It is as if being rich (we are not) was inadequate by itself, but the police state must show deference to people who buy more expensive tickets. It makes one sad to see a Bentley waiting in a toll line. From gated communities, private primary schools, and an infamously tiered judicial system, the Christian nation prefers ermine to social fabric.
